ABOUT PROJECT RUNWAY:
Project runway sewing camp is sponsored by Katie Robert LLC and KR KIDS as an initiative to encourage artistic creativity within all children. PROJECT RUNWAY CAMP is KR KIDS first program. The sewing camp is designed as an enrichment program for kids who lack creative arts in their community. KATIE+ROBERT staff and marketers are excited to see the future fashion designers of Mississippi develop career readiness skills in our KATIE+ROBERT retail studio. We have staff at our KATIE+ROBERT location that have worked professionally as fashion designers in Los Angeles, CA and have background in the education arena. We are elated to teach kids how to express themselves through the art of sewing!

BOYS & GIRLS
Tweens (Ages 10-13) - July 13th - July 15th
Teens (Ages 14-17) - July 16th- July 18th

WHAT WILL STUDENTS LEARN?
- Basic Stitching
- Basic Hand Needling
- Beginner Sketching Techniques
- How to Sew a complete garment of Designer's choice.
DO I NEED TO PROVIDE A SEWING MACHINE OR FABRIC?
If you have a sewing machine that you would like your child to train on, they can bring their own. However, WE PROVIDE SEWING MACHINES! We have beginner sewing machines in studio for each of our students to learn! This is wonderful for parents who are indecisive about purchasing their child's first sewing machine. Future additional projects may require fabric. But during camp, no fabric is needed.
